Hollow When a 6-year-old girl named Ai accidentally falls down into a river and drowns, her policeman uncle arrives to retrieve her body. However, Ai suddenly sits up and appears to be alive. Her uncle then takes her home but does not reveal what had happened to her family. Everything seems to be normal until Ai starts to behave oddly. Her family believes that she is possessed by an evil spirit. Though they hire a shaman to cure her, it fails. Chi, Ai's rebellious 18-year-old sister, journeys into the wood to find the source of Ai's possession. However, she then comes across a community of human trafficking and child prostitution.
